Woah, I haven't posted anything in the last 5 months. Over the past 5 months, a lot of things happened, too many to mention here, some too insignificant to mention.
1) F1
After the Singapore Grand Prix, I've been really into F1. Somehow I just find it super interesting to watch 20 people drive around a track and outrace each other. But 1 thing: I HATE LEWIS HAMILTON. He has a sucky attitude and thinks he's the king of the world just because he can drive his stinking McLaren. I don't know why so many people are so crazy over him, but I'm just not a fan of his. I still prefer Ferrari. The shiny red car... And also, I feel really proud that Singapore can hold something of this size and sparkle in front of the rest of the world, not only the F1 world. I felt so proud when people from Fudan in Taiwan asked about the Singapore Grand Prix! (;
2) EOYS
I did relatively well for EOYs. I managed to pull up my socks and get an A2 for Maths, which pulled up my overall results since EOYs are 40%. I did well for IH too. Surprisingly I did the best for Chemistry out of my 3 Sciences, and I did the worst for Biology. I did very well for compo and unseen prose too! Somehow every year at the end of the year I always end up choosing the correct passage to do and end up doing very well. Overall for my whole year's results I did very well, scoring all A1s and A2s, except for a B3 in Biology, and my MSG was 1.32! God bless!
3) Church
I finally went back to church after an almost 2-year hiatus. But I'm now in Jiang Yin's church, Westside Anglican Church. Somehow I prefer Jiang Yin's church to my own church, maybe because I find the people there more of my kind of people, and because although the church is much smaller than my current church, I find that a smaller service means you can relate better to every single person. I've kind of made up my mind to switch to this new church.
4) GCP Taiwan trip
We spent 14 days in Taiwan, in nice cold weather. It was super fun to go around Northern Taiwan with friends. I took more than 1900 photos there, and used up all three 2GB SD cards that I brought there. To know more about what I did, go to my Facebook account and look at my photos. If you don't have a Facebook account, then GET ONE.
5) Christmas and New Year
Christmas is coming in 2 days, which means the the New Year is coming soon. This is not a good thing because I haven't finished my homework yet. RUSH! This year I don't see much to celebrate for Christmas, because our whole extended family has decided that all people of the third generations (i.e. e and my cousins) that are above secondary school level will not get Christmas present because of the economy recession. I feel this is unfair. We're not only not getting any presents, we still have to buy presents for our own gift exchange when I don't think the adults are even planning to have a gift exchange among themselves. The adults get to save money but we have to spend money, and the point is we don't even have a steady income, no I mean we don't even have an income. WHAT ON EARTH?!? AND WE HAVE NO PRESENTS?!?
6) Quiz team
I'm kind of proud of our quiz team even though they really sucked at first, but now they're really good, and they're able to answer a lot of our questions and do case really well! Quiz team, continue to JIAYOU ok? You can do it! (:
7) K-dramas
I've recently been kind of hooked onto K-dramas, rewatching some that I've watched before and watching some new ones, like New Heart on Channel U and Worlds Within on KBS World. I think it's really cool that we have KBS World at home because we can watch really recent K-dramas and some other stuff. I think the OST of Worlds Within is really nice, especially the one that's playing on my blog now.
Ok, this is an almost complete summary of what I've been doing over the past few months. I hope that I won't have to write posts like this anymore, because it's really tiring and tedious. I shall make it a point to write something on my blog once a week, even if it's just crap, so that my blog won't be dead anymore. (:
