Today we had our class reunion. it was organised by mdm r, who says each time that the next time we'll have to organise it ourselves, but always ends up helping us. this time there were more girls as compared to the last few outings. this time, clive, eric, kee heng, andrew, yong en, xinyi, huiyi and junying came, and huda and nadzirah joined us later.
first we went to mdm r's house to play Wii, and then she sponsored our pizza hut lunch. then we went to csc at bukit batok to bowl, but we could only play one game, cos all the lanes were fully booked after 3, and we got there at 2. then we decided to go watch a movie. we went to watch kungfu panda, but went in 10 minutes late and sat at the wrong places(thank goodness no one was sitting at where we were sitting)
the movie was quite funny and interesting, and i think that the panda is cute(although the ones at Ocean Park are cuter). i didn't know that Jackie Chan and Lucy Liu were involved in the voicing until we saw the credits. i can't really remember how the monkey sounded like now, so i don't know if it sounded like Jackie Chan, but i think the serpent sounded quite like Lucy Liu after i found out. I knew that the panda was voiced by Jack Black and the tigress by Angelina Jolie, but they sounded a little different. no offence, but i think that Jack Black's voice spoiled the panda's cute image. i mean, he doesn't sound cute at all!
after that we went back to mdm r's house to continue with our Wii session, before we left at 7. i was supposed to go for dinner with andrew, and i even called home to say that i was not coming home for dinner, but i refused to go out for dinner with him alone, since no one else wanted to come along, so i still ended up going home for dinner. by the way, thanks andrew for walking me home even though i pangseh you.
i think the next time we'll be meeting will probably be around teachers' day, since andrew wants to have a bbq session for his birthday, which is one day before teachers' day, on a sunday. well, i hope this gathering works out and more people will turn up.
seriously speaking, now i'm really quite sick and tired of organising gatherings cos everytime so little people turn up. i don't think some of them even want to have anything to do with us now that they've found new friends in secondary school. why is 6A1 becoming like this? i'm quite unwilling to organise anything now cos of thelack of response from everyone. it's either they wanna go out with friends or they have something on. if they have school matters on then fine, but then if their excuse for not coming is that they wanna go out with their friends from their secondary school, then i think they shouldn't be doing this. how often do you see your secondary school friends, and how often do you see us, your primary school friends? it's very seldom you know? can't you just arrange to go out with your friends on some other day, since you see them everyday in school? but well, i guess if people have lost that attachment to kranji and to 6A1, then we can't do anything right? i just hope that these people will remember that they came from kranji, from 6A1, and not forget their old friends.
