wanted to blog yesterday, but i was too caught up with transferring the songs from the new CD i bought yesterday into my iPod. got home at 9+ yesterday night, spent the whole afternoon at yeezhai's house playing mahjong. ok, originally i was supposed to go to shaoting's house, but then in the end i decided not to go, and i went shopping, went out for lunch and then to yeezhai's house instead. it didn't really make a difference, since i did the same thing at yeezhai's house, playing mahjong. the amazing thing was that they managed to play mahjong on a glass table (yes, without a proper mahjong table), with a piece of mahjong paper, some old bedsheets and cloth or something like that, just to make sure that the table would crack or scratch. but cos the table's rectangular, it's not nice to play while sitting at the extreme ends. i am getting so much better at mahjong man. at least now i know when i win and when i don't, and how to win. mummy says i got 前途 ok, cos i know how to strategise, although it came a little too late in one game. but until know i still don't know how to count the winnings. bleh. i think i should just stick to playing mahjong for fun and not gamble.

yes, and so i went 'shopping' yesterday. didn't spend much time at lot 1, but at least i got what i want, which is my 陶喆 Power of Live CD+DVD, which i kinda consider a steal cos it was only selling at $25.90. i really have this thing for buying CDs at least 3 months after they come out. the last CD i bought, the JJ Lin 西界 CD, i really 垂心肝, cos the 改版 came out like what, 2 weeks after i bought the disc. the cover was so much nicer! but anyway, i don't think it makes much of a difference now. but anyway, 陶喆 can really sing, and he's very very talented. all the songs he writes are so moving and the melodies are so 琅琅上口. i'm like listening to the CD now, and i really love the track 沙灘 + Over the Rainbow, especially the 抖音 and the 假音, his voice is just so soothing and i must say, he's a really good R&B singer. even jiayuin agrees ok? no wonder people call him 音樂教父. now i really feel like buying 太美麗 (that is if i can even find it now, but i guess i can stil buy it online right?), which probably came out at least a year ago, cos when it first came out, i didn't really pay much attention to the album or even him, for that matter. but then recently i just started to fall in love with his voice... right, now i really really feel like going for his concert in april, but my parents will probably not allow me to go, even if i pay for the ticket myself, and even if they let me go, NO ONE WANTS TO GO WITH ME... like shaoting, who would rather save up money for a jolin concert that doesn't seem like it's gonna come anytime soon, and jiayuin, who apparently claims that she has no money. bleh. maybe if i really can go i'll end up going myself... BUT I REALLY WANNA GO!!!

today was kinda like a slack day in school, except that i fell asleep in french class and madame harry-villain probably caught me, cos she suddenly asked me if 'tu es fatiguee?', which means 'are you tired?' in french, and that i had to chiong out the chem ws 5 and 6 even though i didn't know and understand what i writing since mrs lai didn't teach about that part and teo ying said that if we asked her for an extension because we didn't know how to do it because she didn't touch on that part, she'd probably tell us the same thing the last time we asked for an extension, which is that 'you are supposed to do self-study'. but if we're expected to do self-study for everything that teachers don't teach, then why don't we just skip school altogether, download material from the internet and then engage tuition teachers just to give us some guidance. this will save us a lot of money, even though it would mean that a lot of people would be jobless.

i really need to find a way to prevent myself from falling asleep during french class. i think so far the most useful way is to smuggle in a pack of sweets and eat them everytime i feel like sleeping, but if i were to buy a tube of mentos every week just for french class, eat a few and then bring the rest home, i'd be wasting a lot of money. but i can't keep the mentos in my bag for a long time, can i? man, i wonder why i only fall asleep in french class...

ok, i shall stop here and concentrate on listening to my new 陶喆 CD!!! =D
