i was just reading the newspapers today, and actually no, i found out about heath ledger's death from ms van dijk, who was talking about him today in class. as i was reading the article, i suddenly started feeling quite sad that life's so short, especially for celebrities cos they have so much to achieve, but some just leave the world so early...

and it totally didn't help that i found out that momo's mother was dying and they had to have their reunion dinner tonight cos she's probably not gonna make it past saturday. cancer again. it's not the first time i have relatives around me dying of cancer or being so sick. momo's quite pitiful also, the last time her father had to die just when my cousin was getting married, so she couldn't go for the wedding and it's like, we were celebrating when she was feeling so sad at home about her dad's death. and now her mother's gonna pass away just when LNY is around the corner. but i guess that's just life, always so unpredictable...

it's not the first time that i've felt like this already. last october when those 5 guys died in the dragon boat tragedy, i don't know why but for that period of time i would just look out for articles about them everyday and read the newspapers everyday. i can't think of another time when i actually read the newspaper so often. they were all so young, so energetic, so talented, so good-looking, and they had to die so early. a few days when i was reading the articles i was kinda on the verge of crying cos it was so sad... it's just a very sad thing to see young people die like that.

and then comes mc king. he was also talented, although not THAT young, but still, it's a pity that he had to die so early. i mean,he really seemed like a really nice guy to me, even though i don't know him personally. i don't know why, but when you see articles of people dying, like celebrities or just normal people, you just feel really sad for them. at least for me, that's quite true.

then heath ledger. i was reading the article in life just now and also felt quite sad. it's like, he acted in so many movies and was really famous, yet he had to die at this time and leave 2 movies hanging. not that it's actually his fault, well nobody knows for sure until the autopsy results come out, but still, it's a pity for such a young and good-looking guy to die at such a young age.

i'm quite glad that god has been blessing my immediate relatives with good health. although mama suffered from cancer last year, god healed her and she's now fine and living healthily. and as for popo, i must say that god has really blessed her with very good health. other than some occasional complains here and there, she's kinda like the healthiest 80+ granny in our whole family, which includes all her in-laws and everything. at first i thought uncle hc's mother was quite healthy also, until recently she wa admitted into hospital cos of some urinary tract infection or something like that. but god's gonna heal her, definitely.

i guess for momo's mom, death can liberate her from her suffering and illness, not that i'm cursing her, but at least she won't have to feel so much pain anymore. i don't think momo would want to see her mother suffer like this anymore.
