hello, i'm back! haven't posted for very long cos of school and everything. quite busy with schoolwork nowadays, and also POC.
POC rehearsal was last saturday. super tiring. came home with blisters and everything. unil now my feet are still aching from all the hentak we did. but no choice, cos the actual thing is this sunday, and can't afford to screw anything up. went for dinner with squadmates and juniors at pizza hut after that, reached home at about 8.30.
one thing i fell very accomplished about is that we managed to finish writing the first song on saturday, although in the end sinying changed the whole chorus. it's a good thing though, i always thought the original chorus sounded weird. today me and shaoting wrote out the lyrics for the first part of the chorus, and we also finished the first 2 verses.
ok speaking about the song, we're doing this LA/chinese project and NYAA, so we're doing a fund-raising project and we're thinking of publishing a CD to sell and raise funds. i shall not go to deep into the details, cos now nothing's finalised, but we're already working on the songs, so yeah, JIAYOU EVERYONE!
working with shaoting, priscilla, sinying, wai tiem and jia yuin for this project. super fun, cos of the different kinds of people we have in our group. i really do have some very interesting groupmates. haha. anyway since this thing is going to drag for at least half a year, we should do it with people we're comfortable with right?
oh yeah, and also quiz training. i've been staying back in school on thursdays for training. quite fun cos our trainers are a fun lot, but also feel like i 对不起 them cos we always cannot remember anything or never study hard enough, so we always fare quite badly for case. sometimes i feel like we're taking advantage of them cos they're so nice to us. feel quite bad about it...
it's now the third week of school. i think i generally have some very nice teachers, although not fun ones like ms teo... so 羡慕 becky's class, got ms teo for form teacher. wahlao, so good lar, can have her for the next 2 years... anyway i shall not be envious anymore and learn to appreciate my current teachers.
mrs chang: she's quite a nice teacher and sometimes also very funny, as in the things she says sometimes. she's also quite patient with us. one word: NICE
林老师: she's also very nice and funny. she's very patient and understanding. the stories she tells are also very interesting. by the way, i like teachers who tell stories all the time. haha
ms sim: nothing much to say about her cos we haven't spent much time with her, with most of her lessons spent on us discussing SIA stuff.
mrs tan: ok, i've always heard from other people that she's quite perverted in a sense that she demonstrates stuff in a weird way, but i can't really tell cos we're not doing reproductive system. heard she demonstrated how to wear a condom on a table/chair leg before. the last time she compared a cell membrane to the curtain in our classroom... but she's nice too.
mrs lai: at first i though she would be quite fierce cos of her whole list of class rules, but then she doesn't seem that bad to me now. and i was really shocked the other day when she called my name out, cos i thought she wouldn't even know my name...
mr ang: sometimes he teaches too quickly, but he's also nice.
ms van dijk: ok i think she's the funniest teacher out of all the teachers i have now. she's super funny, be it the way she talks or the stuff she says. i still remember how she held a fake test the other day and told us to write crap on a piece of paper. and how she came over to me and asked me for $100 just so she could tell the class to insist on our stand. and she's also very 夸张, especially the last time she was talking about oil prices. our whole class was laughing like mad lar...
ms yeo: ok, this is one thing i don't understand. WHY IS OUR PE TEACHER PREGNANT AND STILL TEACHING US TRACK AND FIELD? shouldn't she be on maternity leave? i mean, i've seriously never seen a woman 7 months pregnant and still teaching PE. but nvm, considering the fact that she's quite funny too. can you imagine? she told us not to bully the relief teacher who was going to come in when she is due. some guy who just came out from NS, waiting to go into uni. please lar, more like he bully us lor...
madame harry-villain: she's a nice person too. at first i though she was going to like, torture us or something. that kind of teacher who scolds her class all the time and does mean things. but until now, the only thing she's made us do is say everything that we can to her in french, which isn't a bad thing at all. at first i thought she sounded like some evil witch (and i still think she does sometimes), but she's nothing like a witch at all...
wah, got to go do my homework later. crap lar, linear inequalities... and also, have to start writing songs, can't possible let sinying write everything... haha, shall stop here now, if not by the time you finish reading this post, already gone to dreamland...
