it's so christmasy everywhere now. time flies, 2 more days to christmas. can't wait to open up all my presents.
went to tampines, yes TAMPINES, yesterday. all the way there just to go and support popo cos she was performing in some performance thing organised by the dialect and chinese ministry in church. everything was quite ok, until it started raining and everyone had to zao to sheltered area cos the performance was at some open space next to a pathway. but luckily it only started raining near the end of the performance. i zao to the void deck nearby and went to look for popo, then we took some photos and talked. towards the end some 过气 singer called 尤雅 or something like that went on stage and sang 往事只能回味, and mummy was super shocked that i actually knew how to sing that song. haha, please lar, even if she's not from my 时代, but i would have heard cos other people around me listen to the song. anyway, popo used to sing this song to me when i was young.
oh yar, i bought a pair of cute blue flower earstuds for... $1!!! 价廉物美, so damn happy man. bought it at the pasar malam near the performance area yesterday.
actually i was supposed to go today, but cos the performance place is at paragon, so mummy said that it was going to be very crowded (and i think so too), so we went yesterday. but luckily we went yesterday. popo was hoping that samyee and family would turn up, but then in the end they didn't even go. she was kinda disappointed, but at least we turned up.
speaking of the christmas mood, everywhere's so christmasy now, with all the decorations and everything, especially inside shopping malls. at orchard also. too bad singapore's too hot, and there's no snow. would be so much better with snow, but i guess after 14 years in singapore, i'm quite used to it already. hais, still wish it would snow...
tomorrow squadmates are gonna come over for a christmas party. it's the first time we're having something like that, and it's so cool lar, although not everyone's gonna turn up. anyway, there's gonna be a lot of food cos the rest are gonna bring stuff, jiang yin's gonna bring her cookies and shaoting her brownies that the whole squad loves. i'm gonna bake a cake too lar, but i still don't know which one to bake, and i am definitely not confident of being able to bake the chocolate cake, the one that yeezhai gave me the recipe for. she says that daiyee says it's quite easy, but still... maybe i'll try... anyway i have enough chocolate at home. if not i'll just do marble cake or pandan cake or whatever lar (that i'm confident in doing), lest i screw the cake up and there's nothing left to eat. haha =D
got to wake up very early tomorrow cos those people are gonna come and fix the comp monitor that was supposed to be in kor's room but then moved over to daddy's room cos it screwed up after there was a trip at home while kor was playing the 360. daddy says electricity overload, so the comp cannot tahan (but i don't understand how it can happen). haiyar, i have to wake up early cos they coming at 10. urgh. can't they come on another day? it's christmas eve leh, work so hard for what? i still have to go and bake my cake lor.
seriously can't wait for christmas. get all my presents, eat a lot of good food... anyway it's gonna be a fun christmas！
